The Better Than Cash Alliance released a Call to Action at COP28 centered on a crucial need: to urge governments, humanitarian organizations, international and global financial institutions, the private sector, and particularly financial service providers, to adopt responsible digital payments.
The goal is to use digital financial inclusion and digital public infrastructure to increase resilience to shocks and stressors for those more impacted by climate change.
